Graphic Design Services Built for Print

Overview

When you’re ready to design, you need someone who understands print. Our graphic design services in Indianapolis combine creative expertise with deep knowledge of what it takes to print beautifully.

We’re graphic designers who are also your printer. That changes everything. It means your files are set up right from the start. No guessing. No surprises. No expensive back-and-forth revisions between the design studio and the print shop.

Working with us means your design is built for production from day one. We think about how every element will look when it reaches our press. We understand that design decisions today affect print quality tomorrow. That’s the advantage of choosing a designer who is also your printer. We eliminate the gap between the design studio and the production floor.

What We Design

We work across the full spectrum of print design projects. Whether your need is simple or complex, we bring professional design thinking to every project.

Business Cards: We design business cards that stand out and feel right in someone’s hand. Your business card is often the last impression a prospect has, so we make it count. Letterpress, foil, embossing, raised printing. We know how each finish changes the design approach, and we design accordingly.

Brochures: From simple two-fold brochures to complex catalogs, our brochure design services create pieces that sell your story. We understand layout, flow, and how to guide readers through information. We also understand how brochures work on press. Paper choice, ink coverage, binding methods all factor into good design.

Postcards and Mailers: We design direct mail pieces that get opened and remembered. Whether you need a simple postcard or a complex dimensional mailer, we build it right for printing. We think about postal regulations, production methods, and the user experience when someone holds your piece.

Banners and Signs: Large format design needs different skills. We understand sightlines, readability at distance, and how to make your message pop when printed large. Banner design is as much about human perception as it is about aesthetics. We design banners and signs that work.

Custom Packaging: Your packaging is your brand’s first handshake with a customer. We design custom packaging that protects, communicates, and delights. Box design, label design, structural considerations. Packaging is three-dimensional communication, and we approach it that way.

Invitations: Special events deserve invitations that match their tone. We design formal invitations, event cards, celebration pieces, and announcement cards. Every detail matters when someone is holding an invitation.

Logos Adapted for Print: A logo needs to work everywhere. On screen, in print, small and large, one color and full color. We design logos with print in mind. We also know how to adapt logos you already have for different print applications and special finishes.

Why Design With Your Printer

Hiring a professional graphic designer is important. Choosing the right designer for print is critical. This is the core of what sets our approach apart.

When you work with a designer who is not also your printer, a gap opens up. The designer makes color and format choices without knowing the print methods you’ll use. The printer receives files and has to explain what won’t work. Back and forth. Requests for changes. Costs rise. Timelines slip. Quality conversations happen too late.

We eliminate that gap entirely.

Files Set Up Right the First Time: We know the technical requirements for every print method we offer. Bleed margins, resolution standards, CMYK color mode, file format requirements. We build these specifications into the design from the start. Nothing needs rework. Nothing surprises you during production. This is not a nice extra. This is how we work.

No Back and Forth Between Designer and Printer: When we design your piece, we already know it can print on our equipment using our processes. We’re not guessing. We’re not hoping it works. We know it will work because we’re the ones printing it. This saves time and money and reduces stress for everyone involved.

We Understand Finishing: Many designers don’t understand finishing. They don’t know that a business card looks and feels completely different with foil stamping compared to flat print. They don’t know that embossing and foil stamping require different file prep than standard offset. They don’t know that letterpress needs a different approach than digital. We understand all of it because we do it every day. That knowledge shapes better design choices from the beginning. We know when a design element will look stunning with a special finish, and we design with that in mind.

Quality and Service: Brochure design is our specialty. We understand how to balance text, images, and white space for readability and beauty. We’re easy to reach, we answer your questions, and we listen to your concerns.

Our Design Process

Listen: We ask questions about your brand, audience, and goals. We listen more than we talk. No templates. Every project deserves unique attention.

Explore: We develop concepts and explore different visual directions. We bring professional experience to your specific challenge.

Proof: We share design proofs with you. This is where your vision meets our expertise.

Refine: We iterate based on your input until you’re happy. This is a conversation.

Production Prep: When design is final, we check files against our production standards. Colors are verified. Production notes guide our press team. Everything is ready.

Working With Existing Brands

You may already have a brand identity. A color palette. A logo. A style guide. Brand guidelines. We respect that.

We work within your brand guidelines. We apply your visual identity to new projects. We adapt existing art and design to new applications. We ensure consistency across all your printed materials, whether that’s your business cards, brochures, packaging, or promotional pieces.

If your existing brand is dated or needs updating, we can help evolve it while keeping the elements that work. Sometimes a modernized version of an old visual identity is exactly what you need.

File Cleanup and Prep Service

Do you have artwork already, but it’s not quite right for printing? Maybe it was designed for web. Maybe it’s an old piece that needs refreshing. Maybe it came from a designer who didn’t understand print requirements. Maybe you have files from a previous project that need updating.

We offer file cleanup and prep services. We fix resolution issues. We convert colors to CMYK. We add bleeds. We adjust fonts. We prep your files for production. It’s faster and cheaper than starting over. It’s a good option if you have existing art that just needs professional print prep before it goes to press.

Questions We Hear Often

Do I need finished artwork to order printing?

No. You can start with just a concept or sketch, and we can handle the design for you. Or if you have existing artwork you’d like to use, we can work with that and make sure it prints beautifully. Either way, we’ll guide you through the process and make sure your files are ready.

Can you work from my brand guidelines?

Yes. We follow your brand guidelines and apply them to new projects. We understand your visual identity and we keep it consistent across all your printed materials. If you have a brand guideline document, bring it with you.

Can you redesign an old piece?

Absolutely. If you have older artwork or designs that need updating or refreshing, we can take a fresh look and redesign it while keeping the elements that work. Sometimes a modernized version of an old piece is exactly what you need.

What do design services cost?
